I thought I could write about anything until I had to start my first About Me section. I suppose we all have hurdles we must cross.
Hello, I’m Sarah, or as the online world knows me, Twoony. I’m a novel & comic writer with over 10 years of experience crafting fun, romantic, fantastical, dark, and quirky tales. Born and raised in rural PA, I never saw myself becoming an author, but I knew I wanted to work in the industry, so I attended PennWest University and graduated with a bachelor’s in graphics and multimedia.
While attending school, I was offered the opportunity of a lifetime to publish my work, Speak the Truth, as a webnovel on tapas.io. Ever since, I have worked as a contracted author, scriptwriter, or an editorial eye for companies such as Tapas Entertainment, Netmarble Corp., Kisai Entertainment, Storygrounds, Studio Grigo, Recorded Books, and Wattpad.
In 2023, my romantasy, Serving the Undying King, was one of the fifteen winners part of the True Love on Tapas writing contest, which I have since gone on to self-publish. I’ve done end-to-end production work for a further 12 full-length novels and plan to keep this momentum going for as long as I can.
When I’m not writing, you can find me buried in a book, genre to be determined as I am the definition of a mood reader, playing games, or cuddling with my cats. Occasionally, I dig in the dirt to find gems, but I usually find more dirt.
Some of my favorite authors are Robin Hobb, Robert Jackson Bennett, T. Kingfisher, Julian Winters, Darcey Coates, Silvia Moreno-Garcia, and Olivia Atwaters. My current hyper fixation games are Baldur’s Gate, Clair Obscur, Hades II, and Marvel Rivals. I can quote the Lord of the Rings films extended editions if my life depended on it and, yes, that is my greatest achievement.
